Russanne Low

Russanne (Rusty) Low, President and Board Chair of the Boulder Council for International Visitors (BCIV), actively engages with numerous global scientific and educational networks. She previously served on the science faculty at the University of Maryland’s Munich campus for nearly a decade. Most recently, she served as the science lead for NASA’s GLOBE Observer Mosquito Habitat Mapper and Deputy Director for Science at the GLOBE Implementation Office, a NASA-sponsored international science and education program operating across 127 countries. A Fulbright Fellow (Brazil, 2021–2022) and UNITAR Global Diplomacy Fellow, Rusty resides in Boulder, Colorado.
