About Us
Boulder Council for International Visitors (BCIV) was founded in 1962 as a non-profit volunteer organization with a focus on citizen diplomacy. It was founded to encourage understanding and friendship between the community and its visitors from abroad. The BCIV program consists mainly of social events such as potluck dinners.
BCIV is part of a national network of organizations that program visitors that are on the U.S. State Department's International Visitor Leadership Program (IVLP). BCIV is also a Member of Global Ties U.S, a national network of international exchange.
