Garrett McGannon serves as a dedicated board member of the BCIV, bringing a strong background in international affairs, political science, and community engagement. With a deep passion for cross-cultural diplomacy, Garrett has been instrumental in advancing BCIV’s mission to foster mutual understanding between the Boulder community and international visitors. Having initially joined BCIV as an intern, he now works closely with the Executive Director on resource development, fundraising, and enhancing program outreach, demonstrating his commitment to expanding the organization’s reach and impact.

 

Garrett’s leadership experience, combined with his ability to build relationships and organize successful events, has played a key role in strengthening BCIV’s social arms, including the U.S. State Department’s International Visitor Leadership Program (IVLP). His hands-on approach and collaborative spirit make him a vital contributor to BCIV’s growth and its efforts to promote citizen diplomacy and "Collaboration Without Borders" in Boulder.
