Noelani Wright is a Colorado native and high school senior from Longmont who believes cross-cultural understanding is essential to preventing international conflict. Driven by a passion for learning about diverse cultures and their histories, she strongly connects with BCIV’s mission to foster knowledge-sharing and connection with international visitors.

Her commitment to global engagement spans both local and international communities. For the past three years, Noelani has volunteered at her school’s Lunar New Year celebration, helping educate the public on the holiday and its diverse traditions through interactive programming. Abroad, she volunteered in India with Volunteering Journeys, supporting elementary and middle school classrooms and helping students practice English, and has traveled across Europe exploring and comparing distinct cultural traditions.

Outside of BCIV, Noelani has served as a school leadership program Ambassador since her freshman year, representing the program at community and school events. She is an AP Scholar with Honor, a member of the National Honor Society, a recipient of the CU Boulder Outstanding Colorado High School Student Award, and is currently working toward earning a Seal of Biliteracy in Spanish.
