Arabelle Gillies
Board Fellow - Fundraising, Communications, and Media
Arabelle Gillies is a student at the University of Colorado Boulder, studying Political Science, International Affairs, and Economics. With a sharp academic focus and a global mindset, she aspires to attend law school and build a career in international law and diplomacy—working at the intersection of policy, justice, and cross-cultural cooperation.

Arabelle’s passion for international engagement is deeply personal. Having spent part of her childhood living abroad, she developed an early appreciation for language, culture, and the power of diverse perspectives. That global outlook continues to shape her academic and professional path, as well as her involvement with organizations like the Boulder Council for International Visitors (BCIV), where she serves as a Board Fellow.

Born and raised in Colorado, Arabelle brings a thoughtful balance of curiosity and groundedness to everything she does. Whether she’s studying global economic systems, diving into foreign policy analysis, or helping coordinate programming for international delegations, she approaches each experience with sincerity, thoughtfulness, and a clear desire to make meaningful connections.

When she’s not in class or working on projects, Arabelle can likely be found experimenting in the kitchen, hiking the Front Range, or treasure-hunting at local thrift stores. She’s passionate about community, storytelling, and building bridges between people and places—and she brings that spirit to every role she takes on.
