Allie Castillo is a senior at the University of Colorado Boulder majoring in International Relations, with a strong focus on human rights and public diplomacy. Originally from Dallas, Texas, she developed an early passion for exploring diverse cultures, perspectives, and community service. Her cross-cultural experiences include a meaningful service trip to Costa Rica and studying abroad in Madrid, Spain, both of which fueled her dedication to international travel, language, and cultural immersion.

As an intern with BCIV, Allie is excited to explore real-world international exchange and citizen diplomacy firsthand. She looks forward to welcoming global leaders to Boulder, learning from their unique viewpoints, and collaborating with the BCIV team to strengthen local cross-cultural ties while growing both personally and professionally.

Outside the classroom and office, Allie takes full advantage of Colorado’s outdoors—spending her free time hiking, exploring local trails, and skiing throughout the winter.
