Dorothy Riddle

Board Member and Secretary

I have had a long-term interest in meeting people from around the world, so it’s not surprising that I met my husband Anthony at the Bechtel International Center at Stanford University. Anthony, who was from Australia, was studying electrical engineering and I was studying education and psychology.  Shortly after coming to Boulder in 1972, we found BCIV and became active members. In 1990 I assumed leadership of the U.S. State Department’s International Visitor Leadership Program (IVLP). I was responsible for arranging meetings in Boulder for the visitors and their professional counterparts and for arranging cultural and social events. I assumed the role until January of 2022.
